But they've got no class!
One of the biggest dissaopintments of the season came on Sunday afternoon when worthy champions Chelsea came to Toon. Fielding a weakened side (if there is such a thing) you could have understandably expected an entertaining free flowing football. To be fair to Chelsea they started brightly and at five past four a good game was on the cards.
Unfortunatley, the boys from the bridge reverted to type with some disgraceful behaviour from the senoir payer who really should know better. Carvalho was typical, going doen on the edge of his box like he had been shot, quick call the surgens his leg must need amputating, but wait, gone are the days of the magic sponge, no the premierhips finest respond to treatment of a different kind, notable a card. In Carvaliho's case, as soon as the ref had the cheek to issue only a yellow he was on his feet calling for red.
When are the FA going to look at diving retrospectivly and allocate yellow cards for each instance, it will not take long for the cheats to be banned.
Note to Riley, if you have to go to a wall to tell them to stop moving towards the free kick, you may wish to consider asking them to move back the whole 10 yards.

If were going to rant about behaviour then we must mention players surroundng referees. If they're told to back off, and dont, book the lot of them. It will only take one weekend to enforce if done properly.
