For those of you that think one more mouthful cant do any harm, take heed from the story of the 13ft Burmeese Python that exploded while attempting to swallow a 6ft alligator.
In this case experts in Florida believe that the alligator, not taking too kindly to being swallowed whole, clawed at the snakes stomach causing the snake to 'burst'
So the lesson here is always make sure your alligators are dead, sedated or wearing big mits before attempting to swallow them whole....
